About the event

An inspiring online talk. Learn, connect and support Urban Uprising's programmes.

Lydia Bradey is the first woman and only New Zealander to climb Everest without supplementary oxygen. Lydia's fellow mountaineers who had since dropped out of the climb didn't believe she managed to reach the summit. It took a further two years to confirm thanks to other climbers who saw Lydia reach the summit.

Lydia is a mountaineer who is passionate about inspiring people to be resilient, motivated and self-advocating and to see the humour that life has to bring. Join Urban Uprising as Lydia talks about her physical and psychological experiences as a tremendously successful mountaineer.

A recent NHS report into the mental health and wellbeing of our young people has shown we are facing a crisis; they need support now more than ever. All proceeds from this event will be donated straight to our Uprisings, giving more young people the chance to experience transformational personal change that rock climbing can bring.

You will receive your zoom link and passcode after buying a ticket. Check you email spam folder if it is not in your inbox. Also try searching 'Lydia Bradey' to find the email.

Thank you.
